Slow Broadband or Slow Internet??

Before blaming your broadband for a slow internet connection you must make sure that your desktop computer, PC or laptop is performing at its best, as this is one of the causes of a slow internet connection. Even if this is not the cause of your slow internet it is a good idea to clean up on a regular basis anyway.
If you have a Windows operating system this must be cleaned on a regular basis, as Windows has a knack of storing unwanted files all over, always use a good systems cleaner, to clean up your registry files, empty recycle bins, remove internet temporary files, history, cookies, index.dat, and don't forget to defrag and back up regularly.
All these can slow your internet down if not maintained.

Old out of date browsers are slow compared to the new ones readily available today.
Internet 6, 7, 8 are all out of date, slow and have a lot of things going on in the back ground, which slows your internet browsing down. If you are using Internet explorer then Internet Explorer 9 is the latest, and available at Internet Explorer 9 download page.

I do not like change like most, but as a recommendation from an IT colleague who suggested i would like and benefit from Google Chrome i gave it a go and wow it is fast, I know not everyone uses Google, there are 2 or three people that use other search engines, but if you do or don't use Google, give it a whirl you will be shocked how much faster it is. download Google Chrome.

There are other benefits from having the latest browser other than speed, as new websites are designed with the new browsers in mind, offering a more pleasing viewing experience, you will not fully benefit from these new websites until you update your web browser.
